Dielectric Properties of Liquid Crystal Polymer and CaTiO3-LaAlO3 Composites for Embedded Matching Capacitors

We manufactured Liquid Crystal Polymer(LCP) and CaTiO3-LaAlO3(CT-LA) ceramic composites and investigated dielectric properties to replace LTCC substrate and apply to embedded capacitor in organic substrate. The dielectric properties of composites are varied with composition and volume fraction of CT-LA. Dielectric constants and loss are in the range of 3~15 and 0.003~0.008, respectively. In addition, we got low loss and low temperature coefficient of capacitance(TCC) that could not achieve in another polymer-ceramic composites. The composites with 30 volume fraction of 0.99CaTiO3-0.01LaAlO3 has a 8 of dielectric constants, 0.005 of loss and -30~+280.
