An Investigation of the Properties of New-Developed LTCC Materials for their use in UWB Application
Keywords: UWB Antenna, UWB BPF, LTCC
In recent years, there is a great increase in the application of LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics) technologies for constructing microwave applications. Performance of the microwave applications can be critical to the performance of materials at microwave frequency. It is not only desirable to have a material of low loss tangent glass-ceramics, but also it is important how to control the size accuracy and warp with Ag conductor. This paper describes the development of new LTCC material set which reveals low loss and low warp with conventional furnaces. In addition, we make the small antenna and BPF for UWB by using this new material under experiment, and refer the performance.
