Advanced Technologies for High Reliability Medical Electronics Manufacturing

New opportunities for advanced technologies deployment in the medical electronics manufacturing is driven by trends in miniaturization, enhanced functionality and performance, product longevity and cost. This presentation will address the design aspects of 3D integration of multiple electronic functions (low power, high frequency, high voltage and high currents) including the continuous miniaturization of components and their impact on manufacturing, test and reliability. Methodologies for assessment of performance limits and proactive anomalous behavior detection are presented. Impact of these methods on traceability and data collection is assessed. Example application of these methods in the supply chain is shown.
