Thermoelectric Energy Harvesting - A Comparison of Flight Test Data to Test Bench and CFD Simulations

The presentation will illustrate the development and validation of an Exhaust Heat Thermoelectric Generator (EHTEG) using CFD models and actual flight test data in an Unmaned Aerial Vehical (UAV). Actual flight test data from an MLB Bat4 UAV using an in-flight data logging system is compared to predicted thermal energy conversion from CFD models and static test bench data.
