|Design and Evaluation of a 200°C COTS Data Collection System for the Drilling Industry|

|Texas Instruments has introduced a new line of high reliability ICs well suited for operation at 210C. These components can be used to create a complete data collection system. However, it takes more than ICs to build a complete system. This paper takes a look at building a complete 200C data collection system based on the basic needs of the drilling industry. Effort is taken to insure others can follow this design by using the TI chips and other COTS electronic parts including, resistors, capacitors, and circuit boards. This paper provides insight to the circuit design and relative performance of many of the new TI components.|
