Advances in High Performance Pyrolytic Graphite Heat Spreaders
Keywords: thermal conductivity, heat spreader, pyrolytic graphite structures
Recent materials science forums have demonstrated advanced materials solutions for thermal management design utilizing metallized pyrolytic graphite heat spreaders. This presentation will build on the previously disclosed, patented 2-D and 3-D pyrolytic graphite heat spreaders which have been modeled demonstrating highly efficient performance in a variety of power-intensive applications. Continued technology advances incorporating enhanced thermal conductivity [1700 W/mK ]pyrolytic graphite in composite structures will be discussed.
