This website is dedicated to the thirteen IMAPS (International Microelectronics And Packaging Society) Chapters throughout Europe. It contains news, events, committee information, member directories, membership benefits, how to join, call for papers and student resources for each Chapter. Some chapter pages will be listed in their native language.

Much of the information is freely available to non-members and we hope this will give you an opportunity to learn more about the culture and activities of our unique Society.

The membership directory can be accessed only by members. Please visit the site for the Chapter where you live to find out how you can benefit from participating in our events or being an IMAPS member and let us welcome you into our community.

IMAPS Europe, a group of 13 independent local Chapter, has all together some 1500 individual members and additionally corporate members in some chapters. Membership is always local to a chapter, see list with links on the left.

IMAPS Europe is coordinating activities and events through out Europe and where possible also with IMAPS North America and IMAPS Asia. Main effort are the European Microelectronics and Packaging Conference (EMPC) every odd year and European Microelectronics and Packaging Symposium every even year. These are held in May or June.

Coordination is headed by the European Liaison Committee (ELC), having one representative from each Chapter.

Globalisation and coordination is continuously discussed in the World Liaison Committee (WLC), having 2 representatives from IMAPS North America, 2 from ELC and 2 from Asian Liaison Committee, ALC.

IMAPS was first, in 1967, founded in USA and IMAPS North America is still kind of hub for IMAPS. You can find a lot of information about the IMAPS organisation on www.imaps.org, including a global event calendar, http://www.imaps.org/calendar/.
