The Baltimore MTA Light Rail System
operates from the BWI airport to the northern extremity of the
Baltimore metropolitan area. Very conveniently, they put a stop
in the middle at the Convention Center. With the purchase of a
$3.00 pass you can ride the Light Rail all day long which is
more than you will need to get to and from the Convention Center
whether you choose a hotel at the BWI airport or at the opposite
end in Hunt Valley.
Of course, Baltimore offers numerous
accommodations in downtown Baltimore within walking distance of
the Convention Center and the world-renowned Inner Harbor. But
that isn’t all. You can also choose to stay in historic Fells
Point and take the Water Taxi to the Convention Center. You will
not be far from fine dining in Little Italy, the Baltimore
Brewery or any of the great places the make Baltimore so much
fun to visit.
