We have identified a number of interesting excursions targeted for friends and family during your trip to Raleigh. Spend a few hours on a culinary tour sampling North Carolina’s famous barbeque; take a Segway tour through historic Oakwood; hop on a Raleigh Rickshaw for a spin around town; or watch an exciting NHL game where the Carolina Hurricanes take on the New York Islanders on November 3rd. Tour Restrictions and Policies
To participate in our Segway tours you must be age 14 or older (no exceptions!), accompanied by an adult, and weigh between 100 and 260 pounds. You will receive Segway training by our staff and you will be required to demonstrate basic Segway operation in order to participate in the tour.
Once purchased, tour tickets are not refundable. However, if you provide at least 24 hours notice, we are happy to reschedule you to a different tour date or provide tour credit (or a gift card) which can be applied to any tour, space available, up to the dollar amount originally purchased. Tour credit has no expiration date and is transferable.

The Raleigh Rickshaw Co. is providing historic tours of downtown Raleigh. During a one hour ride, aboard one of our fun and eco-friendly rickshaws, you will have the opportunity to learn about the many events that have formed the City of Raleigh over the last 200 years. Our drivers will show you around to dozens of points of interest such as presidential birthplaces, City Market and "Grog Alley."
Groups are welcome. Each rickshaw can support up to two adults and one child. The cost of this one hour package is $54 per rickshaw.
Tours begin in front of the City Museum located on Fayetteville Street.
