IMAPS 2015 Orlando is the largest symposium related to the microelectronics packaging industry in the world. IMAPS 2015 will feature a powerful technical program, a state-of-the-art exposition, progressive professional development courses, another informative Global Business Council Marketing Forum and many other events and activities to share the latest developments in microelectronics. We will hold this year's exhibition at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando. Being in a smaller venue will allow us to negotiate more with the venue and our decorator to help keep costs down for you, the exhibitor!
The Annual IMAPS Symposium attracts approximately 1,000 attendees who represent all facets of the microelectronics and electronic packaging industries. These include: engineers, technicians, R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, management, and many more. They represent the automotive, communications, medical, aerospace, computer, defense, homeland security and consumer industries.

Expanded Advertising and Public Relations Reach - IMAPS will expand the reach and frequency of its advertising over previous campaigns and will include advertisements or announcements in both print and electronic media. IMAPS will also implement a press relations campaign to motivate attendance from readers of all electronics industry periodicals, with more focused attention on editors from Packaging, Wireless, RF, Military Electronics and Medical Device trade press.
A 50% deposit is due with the booth application. The balance will be due on July 15, 2015. Exhibitors will be mailed an invoice following space assignment indicating the balance due. Failure to pay the balance by July 15, 2015, may result in reassignment of your booth location or cancellation of the contract.
What Comes With The Booth? In addition to the exhibit space that is provided by IMAPS as part of your exhibit reservation, you also receive the following with your booth: 8' high backdrape; 3' high siderail; and a booth ID sign. In each addition, each 10x10 booth is provided 1 "full symposium" badge (for sessions) and 2 booth badges with Tuesday and Wednesday Lunch included. Additional booth badges are $0 but those individuals would be responsible for their own lunch payment on Tuesday and Wednesday. Additional benefits of booth space are listed above.
Show Decorator (Shepard Exposition):
Exhibition hall is carpeted, so exhibitors do not need to order carpeting unless they prefer customer colors/styles. All other supplies and services can be ordered from the official show contractor, Shepard Exposition Services, at an additional rental fee. All exhibitors should review the Decorator's Exhibit Kit, that will outline all services available and prices for IMAPS 2015. This kit details all booth-related items such as electrical, shipping, freight, tables/chairs and other furniture, garbarge, cleaning, decorations, labor and more. Leads Retrieval and Audio/Visual rentals are also separate and are included in the "kit" link.
PSAV EXCLUSIVE IN-HOUSE ELECTRICAL (POWER DISTRIBUTION SERVICES AT ROSEN CENTRE) -- Rental of electrical services is optional. Rental information is enclosed in the PSAV Electrical Services form, which can be found in the Shepard KIT link above under "utilities & additional services" (page 32 in the PDF file).
AMERICAN TRADESHOW LEADS RETRIEVAL -- Rental of leads retrieval units is optional. All exhibitors will receive a pre-show and post-show attendee list electronically in addition to any leads units rented. Rental information is enclosed in the American Tradeshow Serivces lead retrieval form, which can be found in the Shepard KIT link above under "utilities & additional services" (page 36 in the PDF file).
MILLENNIUM TECHNOLOGY GROUP INTERNET & AUDIO/VISUAL SERVICES -- Rental of audio/visual equipment or internet services is optional. Rental information is enclosed in the Millennium Technology Group Internet & A/V Services form, which can be found in the Shepard KIT link above under "utilities & additional services" (page 34 in the PDF file).
Important Decorator Deadlines:
- Exhibitor appointed contractor notification deadline: September 29, 2015
- Discount price deadline for standard Shepard orders: October 6, 2015
- Discount price deadline for custom Shepard rentals: September 25, 2015
- First day for warehouse deliveries without a surcharge: September 29, 2015
- Last day for warehouse deliveries without a surcharge: October 19, 2015
- First day freight can arrive at show facility: October 26, 2015 at 8am
Cancellation/Refunds, minus a $100 processing fee, will be made for booth cancellations only if the Exhibit Hall sells out and if the cancellation is made at least 30 days in advance of the Symposium start date. If the Exhibit Hall does not sell out, the full amount of the booth fee will be due to IMAPS. However any monies paid, in excess of the 50% deposit, will be applied against the cost of space at IMAPS 2016, Pasadena.
IMAPS reserves the right to refuse any potential exhibitor or advertiser should IMAPS deem the promotion of a company or organization inappropriate for any reason.
Tuesday, October 27
Exhibitors CANNOT move-out on Wednesday night after the Reception for safety reasons
Dismantling of Exhibit Booth(s) - Dismantling and move-out of exhibits may begin at 8:00 am, Thursday, October 29, 2015, and must be completed by 2:00 pm, the same day. The show will conclude with an exhibit hall reception from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM on Wednesday, October 28th and exhibitor move-out will begin at 8:00 AM on Thursday, October 29th. For safety of exhibitors, attendees, and the valuable equipment in the exhibit hall, dismantling of exhibits and/or moving out during the reception or after it has ended will NOT be permitted . The exhibit hall will close immediately following the reception. Exhibitor move-out services will only be available on Thursday, October 29th.

Complimentary Exhibits Passes for your Customers/Contacts:
Exhibits Only attendance at IMAPS 2015 is complimentary for all. Again, they would need to pay for their own lunch, if interested in joining us for that. We have prepared an electronic "complimentary exhibit pass" flyer that you can email to your contacts as an invitation to visit your booth. E-mail email@example.com if you would like this file. They can print the form and bring it with them to show in October. If you have contacts that you would like our staff to invite on your behalf, email Brianne those lists and we'll gladly contact them for you.
FINAL PROGRAM -- Company Listing/Description & Products/Services:
Our staff will be producing the "Final Program" - the full technical program and exhibit directory distributed on-site to all IMAPS 2015 attendees in Orlando. As an exhibitor your company will be listed in this directory and you can provide a ~100-word description and tag your company to relevant products/services in the directory. The company description and final program updates will be due September 15.
Complimentary EMAIL BLAST -- IMAPS Corporate Bulletins:
We have dedicated our CORPORATE BULLETIN emails between now and IMAPS 2015 to focus ONLY on our 2015 Exhibitors and Sponsors. These emails will be sent on shortly after: September 15, October 1 and October 15. We will automatically include one listing from your final program description (see above). If you prefer to have a different write-up/news/PR/"Come visit our booth" piece in the email, please send that to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 2 days in advance of these scheduled email dates noted just above in this section. The corporate bulletin emails are sent to our global database of more than 20,000 email addresses.

Many exhibitors have inquired about additional advertising in the Final Program booklet that is distributed at the event to all attendees. We have developed a special offer this year to better serve our exhibitors and hopefully get you some additional exposure at the show. PRODUCT LAUNCHES in Orlando:
We're looking to offer a new opportunity to our exhibitors this year - product launches, new services announcements and the like during IMAPS 2015. Do you have new products in the pipeline that could be launched/announced in October with us? New services, products, equipment that you'd like to demo for folks...make a big splash and attract a lot of attention? We are here to help you get some great exposure, potential customers and more. We would like to even schedule time for appointments and the official unveiling if that helps. This is a new concept this year so let me know what works and what might not. We'll find the best mix to help all of our exhibitors!
Exhibitor Slideshow Displayed on TV Outside Session Room:
We are going to run a large flat panel TV outside the session rooms again on Tuesday and Wednesday with a LOOP of exhibitors presentations/slides. We will accept 1-2 slides MAX from each exhibitors with a "come visit at booth..." type of message. It can be an advertisement, graphics, or whatever message you would like us to run. Powerpoints ONLY MUST be emailed to us before Friday, October 9 at 5pm Eastern. This is just one more way for us to attract the attendees into the hall, and to your booth! Sponsorship Opportunities still available:
We have revamped our sponsorship menu this year as you know. If your company would like to expand its exposure and compliment your exhibit with a sponsorship, please let me know immediately and I can propose some options. From golf holes to bag inserts to lunch or a reception, we have a variety of options to fit most budgets. We still have opportunities to insert your flyer into our registration bags, for you to be the lead company for our exhibit hall reception, or to even host a special hospitality suite, beer/wine tasting event and so on. Time is running out though!
LOGO/AD to Self-promote your Exhibit!:
Many exhibitors have asked, so we have developed some "advertisements" for the IMAPS 2015 show. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for a BANNER AD and another format that you can insert into the footer of your emails, or onto the company website to attract visitors to attend and visit your booth.
Meeting Room for Exhibitors to Meet Customers:
We can have a meeting room reserved at the Rosen Centre, away from the exhibit hall, so you can meet with customers, prospective clients, and more. If you need a private room to get away from the hall for a bit for a quiet meeting, just let me know. This will be available on a limited basis -- MUST BE SCHEDULED IN ADVANCE. So you if you would like a complimentary room to conduct a meeting while at IMAPS 2015, please email Brianne Lamm at email@example.com with your top 3 DAY and TIMES. She will schedule this for you and reply promptly.

Book your hotel reservation today! We have reserved a block of rooms at the host hotel to accommodate our attendees. The discounted room rates are only available until the hotel deadline listed above, or until the room block sells out (and they often sell out early - before the expire dates). Reservations received after the noted deadline or after the room block has been filled may be subject to significantly higher rates. IMAPS room blocks at most hotels historically sell out ahead of the discount deadline, so we encourage you to make your hotel reservations quickly for the best price and availability.
Hotel Scams Alert!
All reservations should be made directly with the hotel and within the IMAPS room block. We are not using a housing company. If any person or firm contacts you and offers to handle your reservations, please beware. They are completely unauthorized and possibly fraudulent. The convention industry is currently plagued by such groups. If you use one of them and experience any problems, including lost deposits and no reservation when you arrive, IMAPS may not be able to assist you. Please be aware in particular of one of these unauthorized firms - Exhibition Housing Services - whose salespeople have falsely claimed to be calling from IMAPS.
The only way to book a room in the official IMAPS Housing Block using the reservations information above.
