Black Belt Certification indicates understanding and experience in applying Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems in a variety of business situations. A certified Black Belt demonstrates team leadership in all aspects of the DMAIC model (define, measure, analyze, improve, control), understands lean enterprise concepts, and uses tools to identify non-value-added activities.

“Black Belt is one of the highest levels of certification for those who help provide continuous improvement through the six sigma process. So we are very proud to announce that Mike Cieslinski, Senior Solutions Engineer, recently reached this level of expertise,” commented Faisal Pandit, Director of Solutions. “This achievement underscores Panasonic’s commitment to expanding our value-added solutions in order to help customers maximize the productivity of their enterprise, maintain their competitive position, and be better prepared for changes in the economic environment—no matter which brand of manufacturing capital equipment they use.”
