This workshop is organized each year by IMAPS to promote discussion of leading-edge developments in thermal management components, materials, and systems solutions for removing, spreading, and dissipating heat from microelectronic devices and systems. The Workshop emphasis is for practical, high-performance solutions to meet current and evolving requirements in computing, telcom, and power semiconductor devices and systems.  Single-company product development concepts are acceptable subjects; however, all abstracts will be judged on novel and innovative contributions to the industry knowledge.  The focus of all presentations should be on technical content for describing a thermal solution.

This Advanced Technology Workshop (ATW) and Tabletop Exhibition on Thermal Management has been held since 1992 and is considered to be one of the most successful of the IMAPS workshops held each year. The 2010 Workshop featured 37 technical presentations, three of which were competition-selected presentations from university engineering graduate students. Tabletop exhibition has been a part of this workshop since 2008.

Another Benefit of Exhibiting

The exhibit tables will be located around the session rooms.  Therefore, not only will the booths be more noticeable, but booth personnel can hear the presentations.  All installation and dismantling must be done when sessions are not going on.

*These items are sent after the event. Additional booth personnel are welcome at an extra cost per person. Registrations for the full workshop are not included, but are available at an additional cost.

Marketing Feature Available for Exhibitors:

IMAPS will extend to all exhibitors an opportunity to provide an unlimited amount of pages of company products, services and contact information to be included in the Technical Proceedings CD-ROM. These CD-ROMs are provided to all technical conference attendees and are for sale through IMAPS to all industry professionals.

This unique feature will allow exhibiting companies an unlimited amount of promotional material for their products and services that will go well beyond their exposure at the Workshop.

There is no charge for this optional feature. However, the deadline (11/9/11) must be met in order to be included.

Submissions should be sent electronically in one (1) file, either PDF or Word, that is easy to open, not password-protected and in a logical format. Any materials not sent in the required format or that arrive after the deadline, may not appear on the CD-ROM.Send files to bschieman@imaps.org on or before November 9, 2011.
